Townshend is a charming, close-knit rural community located 20 miles north of Brattleboro in the heart of the Green Mountains. Chief Executive Officer
The Chief Executive Officer will report to the Board of Trustees and ensures that the strategic objectives of the institution can be attained. He/she provides leadership and direction in ensuring the efficient, economical, and effective utilization of hospital resources to meet the identified needs of the service areas through high quality medical care and health service programs.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced healthcare executive who has proven leadership skills, outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities, and is enthusiastic about working in a progressive, rural healthcare setting. An interest and knowledge about rural healthcare, especially in New England, is essential, as well as a genuine vision regarding the direction and opportunities for rural healthcare organizations.
A community health orientation and perspective, combined with the operational skills that are necessary to lead and manage a small hospital, and track record of community engagement as well as involvement in professional organizations will be essential. Experience developing comprehensive fundraising programs will be helpful.

Physical Therapist or Physical Therapy Assistant
Occupational TherapistGrace Cottage Hospital currently as an opening in the Rehabilitation Department for a full-time or part-time physical therapist or physical therapy assistant. The population served includes a diverse caseload of acute and skilled hospital in-patients and outpatients.
Full-time position available at Grace Cottage Hospital to treat a diverse caseload, primarily consisting of acute and skilled hospital inpatients.
CT SCAN / Radiologic Technologist
Full-time position available at Grace Cottage Hospital to operate the CT scanner and provide diagnostic imaging coverage. Qualified applicants must have a wide range of experience and competency, be self-directed and able to work independently, greet patients, review physician orders, and enter necessary data into computer. The successful candidate must maintain confidentiality and adhere to strict policies and procedures while treating patients with care.
AART and Vermont State License required.
Licensed Practical Nurse
Grace Cottage Family Practice currently has an opening Monday – Friday for a full-time LPN to assist in immediate care for patients, screening, and assisting practitioner with exams and procedures.
