Hours Expanded, Robot Replaced

In response to a number of patient suggestions, the hours at Grace Cottage Family Health have been expanded. Patients may now see a practitioner until 8 p.m. on Tuesday and Thursday. Call (802) 365-4331 for an appointment.

Also in response to patient suggestions, the auto-matic phone answering system at Grace Cottage Family Health has been replaced by humans!

All calls made to Grace Cottage Family Health between 8 AM and 4 PM, Monday through Friday, will now be answered directly, rather than being put through a “phone tree”. Grace Cottage Family Practice (Dr. Shafer’s office) will continue to be open 8-4 Monday through Friday.

Pharmacy Phone System You can “opt out” of the new answering system at the Messenger Valley Pharmacy by pressing “0” at any time, but why would you want to miss an opportunity to hear the cheerful, friendly voice on the other end of the line? When you have a prescription to refill, give it a try: call (802) 365-4117 and see if you agree that this system is easy and even fun to use. If you disagree, press “0” and let us know! (The only question we’ve had is, “Where is the ‘pound’ key on my phone?” It’s the number sign on the lower right corner of your phone’s keypad).
