Grace Cottage Foundation
The Gift of Giving

Many people remember Grace Cottage in their wills, knowing that a bequest will help Grace Cottage to continue to provide the type of care they received here. The following people gave generously of their time, talent and energy during their lifetimes, and then continued to give to the hospital, via bequests.

June Kipp June Kipp – A former New York City fashion designer, Kipp retired to Townshend and became very active in the community. In addition to owning the Video Store in Townshend, June was very involved in town government and the library, and passionate about gardening and the Red Sox. June died in June, 2007.

Leon Ingall & Warren Kronemeyer Leon Ingall & Warren Kronemeyer – Owners of Warle Antiques, Warren and Leon moved their business from Lexington & 80th in New York City to Route 35 in Townshend in 1980 and made their indelible mark on the community in so many ways. Their home and property is now the site of Valley Cares (see above). Leon died in July, 2002; Warren in October, 2007.

Richard and Frances KearleyRichard and Frances Kearley – Owners of Kearley’s Garage in Townshend (now D & G’s Garage) and former owners of the home that is now Dery Antiques, Fran and Rich Kearley not only lived in the heart of town, but were considered by many to have been the heart and soul of Townshend for decades. They were avid hospital volunteers. Rich died in 1999; Fran died in December, 2006.
