• Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitor - This critical piece of medical equipment is worn by a patient for a 24-hour period, giving practitioners more information on which to base a diagnosis. $3,600.
• Emergency Room Laryngoscope - This would be used to quickly open patients’ blocked airways. $2,400.
• Critikon Blood Pressure/Oxygen Machines- Now that the hospital seems to be full most of the time, two additional Critikon machines are needed. These machines not only measure blood pressure, oxygen levels and pulse rate, but they also keep track of the results over time and print them out, for patient monitoring. $3,375.
• Patient chairs - It’s time to replace the hard wooden chairs in the doctors’ and family nurse practitioners’ offices. Sturdy, comfortable, commercial-grade chairs are $200 each. As with all gifts, these can be given in memory or in honor of a loved one, and a plaque can be mounted on the front of the chairs.
