“We built it, but they did not come in sufficient numbers for us to keep it open,” said Neil Pelsue, Otis Health Care Center Board Treasurer. “On any one day, we might have just five Adult Day participants, since not every one comes every day. It was an excellent program, but it wasn’t financially viable,” Pelsue added. Grace Cottage staff members have been working with the Gathering Place in Brattleboro, Springfield Adult Day, and Connecticut River Transit to ensure a smooth transition for the eleven participants currently enrolled in Grace Cottage Adult Day Services.
