| “My mother, Maude Vogel, spent her last
days in Grace Cottage Hospital last fall, lovingly and expertly
cared for by the excellent medical staff. The friendliness and
good cheer of the support staff also contributed enormously
to her wellbeing. We are all so fortunate to have Grace Cottage
nearby, and take great comfort in knowing that you will be there
when we need you.” Diana Toomey & Family

| To the wonderful staff at Grace
Cottage, especially Dr. Moss Linder & Christine Gray:
On the morning of July 17, my son Derek was in asthmatic
distress. Thank you for your excellent care and personal attention
to him. Being an EMT in and around Boston, I see many patients
become numbers. In my many years in this field, it is great
to see such professionalism combined with compassion and dedication.
Your sincerity to Derek’s condition has made me a better provider.
Derek is doing much better now due to your assessment and
recommendations.

| Dear Annie [Zaveruha] and Patty [Reardon] and
anyone else at Grace Cottage who helped me:
I understand that you took care of me after my
motorcycle mishap on Route 100. What do you
say to the peple who played an important role
in saving my life? The decision to airlift me to
Dartmouth Hitchcock was a good call. At the
time, it was not clear to any of us the extent
of the internal injuries and bleeding - but there
was enough uncertainty that you sided on caution
- and am I very grateful! It has been a long
road back, with five broken/cracked ribs, a
shattered spleen (they removed it) a kidney that
was nearly severed in two, a chest cavity full of
blood - but I’m beginning to feel human again
- and for this, I owe you a thousand thanks!

“Getting sick far from home is a humbling and scary experience
and your only option is to rely on the kindness and skills
of strangers. I would like to thank the emergency room staff
and doctors for their professionalism, good nature and for
the warm atmosphere which resides at Grace Cottage Hospital.”
